Please allow us two working days* to process your repeat prescription. If possible please bring your tear off slip to the surgery and place it in the box provided or send it by post with an SAE. We do not take requests for repeat prescriptions over the telephone.
We like to review patients on long term medication periodically and the tear off slip will give you an indication that your doctor wishes to see you before issuing a further prescription.
We can now deliver your prescription directly to the local chemist. If you would like this service please indicate by ticking the appropriate space on the repeat slip when requesting your prescription.
It is essential that you tell us your full name, date of birth, address and telephone number as well as which medication you require. Please also let us know if you wish to collect the prescription from the surgery or would like us to send it to the chemist who will prepare your medication for you.
To order your prescription online you will need to click on the link below and create your account using the login details that can be obtained by attending reception at your Surgery with ID and they can provide the information for you. Once you have created your account you can login using the password you have chosen. If there is a problem with your request e.g. your repeat has expired then a receptionist will call to advise you that you need to make an appointment for a review. If there are no problems with the request then the prescription will be ready after 2 working days and will be either sent to the chemist or be held at the surgery depending on which you have chosen at the time of request.
* Two working days is our requirement - your pharmacy may also have a minimum number of days before issuing your medication and therefore take much longer. Please check with your local pharmacy.
